Dublin Airport is operated by the Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) and is located 10 kilometers north of Dublin City Center. Dublin Airport is by far the busiest airport in Ireland with over 23million passengers travelling through the airport during 2007. Major upgrade works are currently being undertaken at the airport with Terminal 2 being the most notable. The new terminal at Dublin Airport will handle both short and long haul flights and is due to open during 2010.
