Dublin Port Tunnel

The Dublin Port Tunnel joins the main links round around Dublin (M50) with Dublin Port. The tunnel consists of two dual carriage ways of 4.5km in length and is dedicated to the safe passage of HGV vehicles through Dublin to the Port. The tunnel is toll free for Heavy Goods Vehicles, Buses with more than 25 seats and for specially adapted vehicles. For all other vehicles, the toll ranges from €3 to €12 depending on the time of day. On average it takes just 6 minutes to get from the M1 to Dublin Port through the tunnel, or 10 minutes from Dublin Airport to Port Tunnel
